It All Begins Here

That's me as a doctoral student exploring an archive with its founder, an amazing activist! The picture is from 5 years ago. Time flies. My mother loved books and taught me to be interested in the world. She was a public defender in Brooklyn and my father worked with antiques and cars in Uruguay. I am their daughter.

Here's a picture of some of Havana's famous classic cars, which I took during a trip to Cuba in 2023. In some ways, the trip was a bit of a pilgrimage for me.
